About Tiny Museum

Tiny Museum is a tiny museum for the pets, places, people, relationships, and weird little objects that make a life unmistakably yours.

The idea

Send us a photo and tell us why it matters. We turn it into a miniature collectible artwork, then give it the treatment of a real artifact: a title, place, date, collection, and unique exhibit number.

The subject can be profound or completely unimportant. A proposal bench belongs here. So does your dad's old truck, your childhood dog, the ugly chair you refuse to throw away, or the restaurant where you met your best friend.

Built in Charleston

Our first local archive celebrates Charleston through tiny paintings of porches, shrimp boats, old signs, beach houses, restaurants, streets, docks, and the personal landmarks that never appear in guidebooks.

The bigger museum

Every exhibit contributes to a crowdsourced archive of ordinary human life. Over time, those individual stories can become city collections, wedding museums, live Museum Nights, and a traveling wall of hundreds of tiny paintings.

Anything can be art if you put it in a museum.
